Atwood Park, located along the Kishwaukee River, spans 334 acres of diverse landscapes, from dense forests to open prairies. GASS tackled Phase 2 of the park’s Silent Sports Trails, bringing expert design and construction to the mix.
Our team renaturalized old trails and added 1.8 miles of new multi-use trails for biking and hiking enthusiasts. We also revitalized some less sustainable paths, expanding the network and making it more inviting for everyone.
With these enhancements, Atwood Park is shaping up to be a top destination for folks who love the great outdoors. This project shows our dedication to building trails that are fun, inclusive, and environmentally mindful.
